Booking a workshop session...

Sessions can get very busy, especially at weekends and school holidays.

Drop-ins are welcome but please note availability may vary.

Have a quick go on the potters wheel (availability may vary).

£6 to have your pot glazed (ready for collection in one month)

£3 to take your pot away there and then.  It can be painted at home but won't be waterproof.

Due to limited storage space all work must be collected within 3 months of making (unless otherwise arranged).
 A hands-on clay activity workshop where you can create one-of-a-kind bowls, cups, models and much more. All ages and abilities are welcome!

Come along for free activities at Dartington: Make  pot on the potters wheel at Crazy About Clay, have a go on the Zip Line, try Archery and Rock-climbing with Dynamic Adventure, Glass Painting at Berserks, Massage at HAven Spa and 2 for 1 burger meals at Venus Cafe.

Wednesday 15th May:          Sessions at 10:00, 11:30, 2:30 and 4:00. 

Thursday 16th May:          Sessions at 10:00, 11:30, 2:30 and 4:00. 

Friday 17th May:              Sessions at 11:30, 2:30 and 4:00. 

Saturday 18th May:          Sessions at 10:00, 11:30, 2:30 and 4:00.

Sunday 19th May:                FREE ACTIVITIES DAY:       Throw a pot and take it     home with you.

Gift Certificates: £11 

Each gift certificate entitles the holder to a one-hour pottery session (to be arranged by mutual agreement) in which they can make a pot on the wheel and a model or pot by hand, (includes firing and glazing for 2 pieces).

 One hour session: £7 per person.

Firing fee:  Decide what you want to keep and have fired, it is then weighed and charged at £5 per Kg. An average mug is about £2.

If you'd like to paint your work with brightly coloured underglaze paints before it's glazed with transparent glaze, you can come back after 3-4 weeks for another session.  You can also make new work at that session. (£7 session fee applies.)

If you prefer not to paint your work, you can choose a coloured glaze and leave it with us to be glazed for you.  It can then be collected in about 4 weeks or mailed to you for £6 p&p.
